Need help with black and white vector graphics, PDF, Help?

I am designing a custom text silicone wristband online and I would like to include some clipart I created myself in Paint. It says any artwork must be black and white vector. Please tell me if this is the right way to do it as I'm not really sure: I have my plain black and white artwork in Paint and then I copied and pasted it into Microsoft Word and then saved the file as a PDF. Sound good? Thanx.
