Liquid Wrench Silicone Spray Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistol?

i have this silicone spray that i bought from harbor freight. i checked the back and it said it has petroleum distillates, and i heard that it's bad for airsoft guns. i just want to use it for my propane adaptor.. i want to know if it will do anything bad to my gbb pistol.
